Kid’s Bake Camp – Sea Creatures Theme

Dive into cookie and cake decorating at this one-of-a-kind Kid’s Bake Camp on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Heuby E. Moore Band Building in Festus. In this dual workshop, attendees will learn the basics of decorating sugar cookies with royal icing and a small cake with buttercream frosting – all while creating beautiful, edible art!

The camp lasts 3 hours and is for ages 10-18.

Attendees should be dropped off at the Heuby E. Moore Band Building (711 W. Main St.) by 10:50 a.m. on June 19, so we may begin at 11 a.m. Adults may remain on the property for the duration of the camp, but due to space limitations, seats in the venue are reserved only for participants.

Attendees must be picked up at the Heuby E. Moore Band Building no later than 2:10 p.m. on June 19.

All supplies for the cookie portion of the camp will be provided, including:

6 blank cookies to decorate

Pre-mixed and colored royal icing bags

1 to-go container for transporting cookies

All supplies for the cake portion of the camp will be provided, including:

One 6″ vanilla cake

Pre-mixed and colored buttercream frosting

1 to-go container for transporting cake

Rosie’s Bake Shoppe will provide all attendees with one water bottle.

All baked goods used in this camp may contain eggs, wheat, and milk, and are made in a kitchen that handles nuts. The customer’s acknowledgment of this allergen notification is understood by registering for the event.

* If fewer than 4 attendees register, the camp will be canceled, and those who purchased a ticket will be refunded. If you purchase a ticket and are not able to attend, there are no refunds. You may be able to transfer your registration to a friend on a case-by-case basis.
